What is a Smart Transfer Person Lift?

A Smart Transfer Person Lift is designed to transfer you gently into your car from your wheelchair. The Lift slowly lowers you into the driver or the passenger seat of your car by getting you to sit in a sling. You are then lowered slowly into position in the car so you can continue to travel in a regular car without the worry of getting into the seat.

The Smart Transfer Person Lift is extremely strong and durable and can lift up to 23 and a half stone with no extra lifting required. The Smart Transfer Person Lift can be fitted to most vehicle types and it is extremely lightweight and easy to use with only two buttons to operate.

How does a Smart Transfer Person Lift work?

The sling, which the Smart Transfer Person Lift uses, can be placed in the seat before the wheelchair is used so it is sat in there when you go to use it. You then have to securely attach the sling to the lifting bracket of the Lift which is fitted into your vehicle and press the up person which lifts the sling and the person into the car. Once in the car you can unclip the sling and put it back in position ready to travel and drive.

The Lift is discreetly attached to a pivot post in your car and is available with a range of sling options including a mesh sling, a Double Amputee sling and a Fur Lined sling. The Slings are available in a range of sizes and we can even move it over to your next vehicle when you get a new car.
